Hundreds of millions were lifted out of poverty. ⚠️Now, however that progress is at risk as India grapples with a vicious internal cycle of defaults. Andy Mukherjee writes that today's problems come from its past successs, namely its finance-construction growth model. He asks: Can India in the 2020s try to reinvent its finance-construction model so that it works for everyone and not just for a few thousand financiers in Mumbai?
